We have multiple programs focused on central nervous system (CNS) disorders, all targeting large markets.
Our most advanced CNS programs include our PPARγ program, focused on developing proprietary compositions that include peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) agonists for the treatment and prevention of addiction to substances of abuse (e.g., opioids, nicotine and alcohol); our phosphodiesterase 10 (PDE10) program, focused on developing drugs for the treatment of schizophrenia; our PDE7 program for the development of drugs for the treatment of movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, as well as addiction and compulsive disorders; and our G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) program with which we believe we are the first to possess the capability to conduct high-throughput de-orphanization of orphan GPCRs.
